España Spring 2011 – Day 6

So, back home again. It’s always nice to come home, but we’ll all be missing Spain for awhile.

It truly was an inspiring and enchanting journey.  We all marvelled at the passion with which so many of the people that we met talked about and shared with us their craft — whatever it may have been. From Salvador in the Delta del Erbo, who knew of no place better in the entire world, to Antonio at Vili Vinteca, who has dedicated himself to delivering the best Iberico ham that can be had… it has been a delightful and magical education.

We can only hope to bring some of it back to all of you who share with us the Barcelona experience here. At least we all know that we now have no choice but to try to rub off a little bit of Spain on every one of our guests.

In closing, without explanation I present to you the quote of the trip:

“It’s being complimentary, but it’s saying things that are inappropriate for a cheese that I just met.”
